Ubuntu / Debian (Ondřej Surý's packages)

sudo apt update
sudo apt install --only-upgrade php8.5-cli php8.5-fpm

Add any other php8.5-* extensions you use. Moving to a new branch? Install the new packages alongside the old ones, switch your web server or PHP-FPM pool over, then remove the old ones.

RHEL / Rocky / AlmaLinux (Remi)

sudo dnf module reset php -y
sudo dnf module enable php:remi-8.5 -y
sudo dnf upgrade 'php*'
